Old News at Ramsbury.com 2004

31 August 2004 - The September diary & calendar pages are now available - also the latest Parish Council minutes. The new Community web site should be live during the next week. Make sure that you have added www.ramsbury.org to your favourite bookmarks.

Apologies to those of you who could not find the text to go with the picture of Axford School in our Picture Gallery - the links should now work properly.

5 August 2004 - A little late in updating this month: apologies to all regular readers.

There are the usual diary pages and council minutes, also revisions to the lists of Councillors, and Council Committee members & Representatives.

The new Community web site sponsored by Ramsbury Parish Council will be going live during the September. See full details here in September news.

2 July 2004 - We have the July diary & calendar as well as the Council minutes for you.

Our big news this month is that we will shortly be introducing a brand new web site for the Ramsbury Community. So, be sure to browse this way over the next few weeks to find out more about this exciting development.

On Saturday last, the Ramsbury Street Fair met with very un-Olympic weather. To see how everyone fared, see our Recent Events in Pictures page.

7 June 2004 - Sorry for the delay in publishing the Council minutes of the May Parish Council meeting. These are now with us.

31 May 2004 - The June editions of the Diary and Calendar are now posted..

2 May 2004 - The May editions of the Diary and Calendar are now posted as well as the April Parish Council minutes - congratulations to the new Clerk for getting them out so promptly.

31 March 2004 - Now that April's Dairy and Calendar are here (also the March Council minutes).

8 March 2004 - Oops! - I have found out why the Chess Club was not invited to the Welcome party (see 24 Feb below). I left it off the Contacts list - and I am the Chess Club Secretary!! Oh dear. Ah well, the Parish council minutes for February are here for your delight.

24 February 2004 - Second month running we have the latest dairy and calendar for you well in advance of the 1st.

Newcomers to the village who attended the Church Welcome party last month may wonder why neither the Ramsbury web pages nor the Chess Club were represented. Well, we were not invited. BUT, as you have discovered the web pages, you now know that we have a Chess Club - just follow the link to e-mail your interest. And do spend some time browsing through the many corners of our Communiyt Pages, updated every month with all the latest news and information.

26 January 2004 - the latest dairy and calendar and the Parish Council minutes for January are all ready earlier this month, so without further to do, read on!!

Our "recent" events in pictures page is looking VERY shabby now. We would love to show pictures of any local event or gathering which might interest some of our readers - they are especially welcome to those Ramsburians now living far away.
