Deer, pheasant, partridge and pigeon from the estate provide the smokehouse with a wonderful, fresh and local source of game throughout the year. The river Kennet, a classic chalk stream, runs through the heart of our land, offering fantastic trout fishing which has inspired us to add this delicious local fish to our range.
Our land provides a plentiful source of fish and game on our doorstep. Which is why, in 2014, we set-up a traditional smokery to supply restaurants, pubs and consumers with consistently high quality smoked products. We are part of the Ramsbury Estate, where we also produce traditional real ales, a single estate vodka, and cold pressed oils.

Our Scandinavian style cured trout is a fresh alternative to Gravadlax. Left to cure in an aromatic herb rub for two days it is a mouth-watering twist on a classic.
